Josef Järhult granted funding by the Swedish Research Council/JPIAMR
The Swedish Research Council has awarded funding to Josef Järhult in the fifth call of the Joint Programme Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (JPIAMR).
Interventions to reduce the use of antibiotics in breeding of domestic animals in developing countries, will be investigated in the project. A pilot study on pig breeding in Thailand will be done. Researchers from Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Thailand, and Vietnam will participate and the full budget is about 10 million SEK.
