Organisation

The Department of Medical Sciences is a part of the Medical Faculty and one of eleven Departments which belong to the Disciplinay Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy, one of three Disciplinary Domains at Uppsala University.

The Department of Medical Sciences is led by a Head of Department and a Department Board. The Department is organised in nine research areas with a total of 30 research groups, each led by a research group leader.
