As a follow-up to our 2015 workshop on Environmental Contaminants and Obesity we are now arranging a new workshop with a broader perspective on the current knowledge regarding Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDCs) and Human Health. The workshop will include topics ranging from in silico screening of EDCs and carcinogens, regulatory aspects and costs of EDC related diseases, to food contact materials as a source for EDCs and reported health effects of EDC exposure from epidemiological studies from different countries. The impacts of EDCs on the health of the planet, wildlife, and humans have become major public concerns in many countries worldwide, and ongoing research highlights more than ever the broad range of effects of EDC exposure.
