Fibromyaliga (FM) is a common rheumatic disease with a wide rage of symptoms , and it is significantly more frequent among women. The main manifestations include chronic pain in the muscles and bones as well as physical and cognitive fatigue (an overall feeling o tiredness or lack of energy). Patients who suffer from FM tend to have other rheumatic disorders as well, and in those cases, the patient often has worsened health status and more severe symptoms. FM can cause a negative impact on most elements of the individual's life leading to difficulties performing daily and work-related activities.
